What is required on applications and supporting documentation for iBurst and Vodacom 3G HSDPA
1. Adjustments and completion of contracts
- Adjustments i.e. any errors must be initialed by the applicant
- Application forms must be fully completed and signed by the applicant. The applicant should be made aware of the terms and conditions
- Applicants must be advised how PPU works
2. Copy of ID – must be clear, however, if a clear copy cannot be provided, the following verification by the Cr Vetting Dept will suffice:
- Contacting the subscriber to verify whether he/she applied for the contract
- Confirming of employment by calling the employer
3. Payslips with no bank account numbers
- Clients must provide a bank statement as proof of income i.e. a bank account that the salary is transferred into
- Credit card accounts- the front and back of the credit card is required
4. Clients that have overdraft limits
- Unless the credit score is excellent and there are no unpaid debit orders on the client’s bank account, applications may be referred
5. Proof of address:
- Applicants should provide a copy of a Utility bill. This should reflect a physical address and not a postal address e.g. PO Box number
- Should the applicant not have a utility bill and only receives his/her mail at a PO Box etc, this may be referred
6. Applications received from foreigners should have the following documentation attached:
- Clear Copy of the ID / passport
- work permit
- 3 bank statements with a South African Bank
- payslip
- Utility bill
